My name is Kirk Nofziger and I started in the pool service industry over 17 years ago. I had a retail store and over 150 service accounts which included residential, home owners associations and commercial customers. Before getting into the pool industry I worked in Industrial Manufacturing doing blue print take-offs while attending college full time.
 
I started doing renovations and insurance work in the mid 90's and soon realized how poorly some pools were built from equipment installation, to tile, coping, plaster and the actual pool shell. I started attending classes and seminars on pools construction, including vanishing edge pool construction, hydraulics, heater installation, automated controller installation, tile and coping installation, piling construction, layout and excavation and others.
 
I have always strived to learn more about how to build a better pool. In 2005 I attended  "Genesis3" Construction school and it changed the way I looked at construction and design. I enjoy what I do tremendously, from creating the simple freeform pools to the highly complicated geometric watershapes.
 
My first concern in building a pool is safety for all concerned and quality so that the pool will provide years and years of enjoyment. That is why I oversee the whole construction process "from dirt to water". I lay out the pool, I am there the day of excavation, I supervise the rebar placement and double check it before gunite. I am there the entire day of gunite to be sure that your pool is built to my high standards.

I build a true "gunite" pool, not a "shotcrete" pool, Gunite will cure out at over 6000 psi compared to shotcrete which is only around 3000-3500 PSI. We tie all our rebar at 8" on center in both 3/8" and 1/2" rebar. We quadruple tie the pools bond beam in #4 1/2" rebar. Our walls and floors are shot in gunite a minimum of 8" thick with our bond beam being 12" thick. All of our pools come standard with a water leveling system and overflow.
